The 1024-channel Multi-Channel Analyzer (MCA) is a compact counting instrument used for gamma counting. It contains a precision pulse height analyzer and high voltage supply, both microprocessor controlled.

Five energy ranges from 400 to 2000 keV are provided. Upper and lower level discriminator are independently controlled from 0 to 100%. The Digital Rate Meter indicates 0-10 million counts per minute (CPM) with automatic change of range and automatic background count subtraction. Data including count data, time and energy level settings can be transmitted to a computer via the RS-232 interface. Optional spectrum / MCA includes auto-calibration.
