The RAM DA 2000 Series are versatile, sophisticated, microprocessor based instruments, suitable for a wide range of applications including area survey, contamination monitoring, preset scaling and high dose freeze reading. The large, LCD continuous ranging readout, features either automatic or manual selection of dose or count units to suit the quality range of interchangeable detectors that are available. The RAM DA 2000 Series will provide a cost-effective solution in situations where there is a requirement for a single instrument to meet a variety of monitoring applications.

The RAM DA 2000 Series is available with dual, wide range internal GM detectors and/or

a choice of nine external interchangeable detectors suitable for alpha, beta, low or high-energy gamma and X-ray detection.

The RAM GENE-1 suits applications requiring a high sensitivity for alpha, beta and gamma surface contamination monitoring, plus offers the additional flexibility of dose-rate monitoring. The RAM GENE-1 is equipped with a recessed, internal GM pancake detector using a thin mica window protected by a stainless steel screen. The instrument can be used as either a radiation dose-rate monitor with the specially designed energy filter in place, or as a contamination monitor with units of cps or cpm.  The display units are automatically selected by an in-built filter sensor.  The new rugged aluminium enclosure and splash resistant keypad makes the GENE-1 suitable for use in harsh environments.

The RAM SURF is a dedicated surface contamination monitor with an external pancake GM detector suitable for detecting very low levels of alpha, beta and gamma contamination on work areas, skin and clothing

The RAM SURF uses a recessed internal GM pancake detector of 1.75" effective with a thin mica window covered by a stainless steel wire mesh screen.  This is housed in an external probe which offers the extra flexibility required for monitoring less accessible positions.

Rotem R-200 Series
(Mil STDs 810 & 461)
The RAM-R-200 is a portable multifunctional, rugged survey meter designed for measuring wide range gamma radiation fields and contamination. The sturdy casing and internal electronics are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations and perform reliably in extreme environments. An internal detector containing two energy compensated GM tubes together with optional external probes will detect, measure, and digitally display both dose and dose
rate levels of gamma radiation from 0.1µSv/h to 100 Sv/h (10µR/h – 10,000 R/h), and alpha/beta contamination from 0 to 1 Mcpm.

The PDS-100G and PDS-100GN are the new generation of gamma and gamma/neutron radiation
detectors.   These sensitive pocket-sized devices are designed to detect, locate and quantify any radioactive materials as Special Nuclear Materials or as Radiological Dispersal Devices (RDD), in a very short time.  The PDS-100G and GN feature the capability to transmit the measurement and the spectrum on request.  They have been designed specially for First Responders, Law Enforcement, Customs Inspectors and for Personnel and Site Security in critical infrastructures.
